How to delete your Online Meetings account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Online Meetings app by Community Bible Study, which data is deleted, and what is kept.
Delete your account
In the app or on the website
- Open the Online Meetings app, or go to meetings.communitybiblestudy.org, and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap Delete Account.
- Read the message, type DELETE in capital letters and tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
This can’t be undone. If you want to use Online Meetings again later, you will need to request a new account.
If you can’t sign in
Email answers@communitybiblestudy.org from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete the account and confirm by email within 5 business days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account
- Your profile: name, email address, language and time zone
- Your meetings, including upcoming ones (participants are not notified)
- Your contacts and groups
- Your participation in other people’s meetings
What is kept, and for how long
- Deleted sign-in accounts may stay in Microsoft’s recycle bin for up to 30 days, and are then removed permanently.
- We don’t keep any other copy of your data.
Delete only some of your data
You don’t have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual meetings, contacts and groups at any time.
